Corrections Policy

At Informeia, we take accuracy seriously. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and transparently. This Corrections Policy explains how we handle errors in our stories and how you can bring one to our attention.

How we correct errors

When an error is confirmed, we update the story as soon as possible. Where the error is important, we add a clear correction note to the story explaining what was wrong and what has been changed. Small typographical errors and formatting fixes may be corrected without a note.

How to report an error

If you spot a factual error in one of our stories, please email query@informeia.com with:

  • A link to the article
  • The incorrect information and what it should say
  • A source or evidence for the correction, where possible

Our editors review every report. If a correction is needed, we will make it and respond to you where appropriate.

What we do not change

We do not alter published stories to remove accurate reporting, to favour a particular viewpoint, or in exchange for payment. We update stories only to improve accuracy, add new information, or reflect developments, and any significant update is clearly marked.

Complaints

If you believe a story is unfair or inaccurate, you can also raise a complaint under our Editorial Policy by writing to query@informeia.com.
